Mahalo means thank you, gratitude, and respect. And that is how everyone is treated at my practice Mahalo Ásgeir, where I offer my flavor of Lomi Lomi and Aloha Magic. The practice of Lomi Lomi has become my passion, to share Aloha through loving touch and loving presence. This is my calling, my spiritual practice, my way of Life. And now I feel compelled to share this magical healing modality with the world.
After numerous courses, workshops and private lessons with Kumu Magdalena Grabowicz, Uncle Harry Uhane Jim, Kumu Susan Pa’iniu Floyd and Kumu Lawrence Pa’a Nui Aki in Iceland, Poland, United States and Hawaii, I have started to teach this magical art of healing. I offer private training courses in Reykjavik (taught in English or Icelandic) and I co-founded The Lomi Lomi Nui Hawaiian Healing Arts Academy with my colleague Magañay of Leeds to offer intensive massage training retreats in Europe.

In my practice I put a lot of attention to creating a safe space where anyone can just stop for a moment and simply be. Through warm, caring touch and supportive presence, my sessions can help to release physical tension, stuck emotions, calm the mind and allow the body to reach a deeper state of relaxation. By continuosly deepening my practice with various teachers, Lomi Lomi has become a way to expand the knowledge about myself, human nature and life itself.
Alongside massage, I also co-create group sound-healing sessions and ecstatic dance events in Reykjavik, inviting others to reconnect with their bodies and to find more peace within.

I received my first lomi lomi in 2021 with Magdalena and fell in love with this healing practice which is so much more than a massage.
I have been practicing lomi lomi nui at my home for more than a year now.
I took my trainings in 2024 with Aloha Magdalena in Arnarstapi in the beautiful Snæfellsnes peninsula by the glacier Snæfellsjökull.

I am an anthropologist deeply rooted in nature. Yoga courses at ashrams in India, Vipasana meditation course, and the 5 Rhythms Workshops, in which I found new spaces within myself, began my exploration of the body and mind. This intuitively led me to Magdalena, who revealed to me the secrets of Hawaiian lomi lomi massage (levels 1 & 2).

I am a passionate and dedicated holistic bodyworker based near Bordeaux, France, with over 12 years of experience in nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. I am initially trained in Shiatsu and Lomi Lomi Nui massage, and in 2025, I deepened my practice with a transformative training with Magdalena in Iceland.
